Who hasn’t driven past those impressive yachts that line the harbor and thought, “it sure would be nice to have one of those!”

Before you re-mortgage the house for a deposit on a rubber ducky, why not experience one without the cost or complications. This Banana not only delivered the ultimate sailing experience – passing stunning Tall Ships and marine life in the process – it also allowed me to sit back and relax as the wind blew us towards the gorgeous Channel Islands. The Captain and crew, all friendly and enthusiastic, provide excellent company and cold beer aboard our gorgeous 46ft yacht. I even get the opportunity to take the helm, guiding us forward at about 6 knots. There’s so much comfort and modern gadgetry aboard we could literally sail around the world, but looking for dolphins and whales will have to do. Sometimes it feels like I’m in that Duran Duran music video, other times it feels like sailing is a calm massage for the soul.
