April
I'm flying at full throttle, my burners blowing holes in the eardrums of the people on earth, when a bogey comes into my radar. I flip a switch on my joystick to arm the medium-range Sparrow missile. A ping tells me it is ready to fire, but I have to twist and turn my F-18 Hornet into position to lock this bastard down on my radar. I maneuver my jet until his little white dot is in position, and flip another switch on my throttle to lock him down. Then I press the red button, and a missile is released. He is just a fleck in the sky, but the missile hones in, and the bogey explodes in the sky. "Nice shot 302!" says control into my headphones. "More bogeys at 170 right." The hunt continues.
