Sail with Capt. Dan and his crew on a 46' luxury yacht. Explore Santa Cruz, Anacapa, Santa Rosa, San Miguel islands for a day or two or as long as a week. Explore these uninhabited islands and observe abundant wildlife. Sail with dolphins, whales, sea lions and tens of thousands of sea birds. The National Park Service and The Nature Conservancy are returning the Channel Islands to the conditions found when the last Native Americans paddled to San Buenaventura.
The National Park Service is bringing back Bald Eagles, nurturing the native foxes and sheltering endangered Brown Pelicans. During the week you will see very few boats and lots of wildlife. Spend a day or two or even take three to circumnavigate Santa Cruz Island. Kayak, hike, or learn to sail while you're aboard. We will be happy to teach beginners or act as your crew if you are already experienced. The luxury sailing yacht is perfect for one or two couples for several days of sailing. Relax in the solitude of Diablo anchorage or cruise to the southwestern shore and witness sunset at Morse Point. What could be more romantic or relaxing!

Vital Information |

Must be able to negotiate a steep 5-step ladder and be able to grasp handrails firmly in rough sea. Life jackets are worn throughout and the captain gives a thorough briefing on safety considerations before getting underway. Guests with disabilities cannot be accommodated for this experience. Kids in sixth grade or higher are invited. We've found that children in lower grades aren't ready to sail for extended periods. |

Weather |
|
| This is a weather dependant experience. Ventura has some of the best sailing weather in the world, still we are very cautious and carefully check forecast weather. We want you to be comfortable and will generally not sail in rain or fog or when seas are particularly rough. Phone in before leaving home. |

Group Size |
|
| Maximum 4 passengers. |

What To Wear |
|
| Casual, outdoor clothing, sweater, windbreaker, white-soled sneakers, socks, and sunscreen. Temperatures at sea are frequently 10-15 degrees cooler than ashore and we need wind to move. So, no matter how warm it is at your hotel, bring a windbreaker and sweatshirt or sweater. |
